Re: Sore heads

An open letter to Paul M.

This is the kind of post that prompts my cynicsim. Greg is the Great
Liberator, ready to heal all the wounds, open the door to the oppressed
lurker and defend the predictor of a perfect 82-0 season for our beloved
Celtics.

I'm afraid that Greg can't call me by name because he's really not
interested in addressing me directly, but would rather appeal to you with my
post directly below.

I'm not calling anybody names except Mr. Ode-to-God, which, from his appeal,
couldn't be far off in it's aptness. I'm happy to see that there are
concerned posters and lurkers, but far too much time is spent on maintaining
an aura of "Early Posters Have Control" and a proper initiation period in
which to lay dormant or chuckle over the wit of the Original Seven.

Let's talk Celtics and stop the trash, and we can move on to the "on-topic"
issues that you insisted on in your email. I seem to spend far more time
defending my positions on posts of weeks ago than talking about the
re-emergence of Eric Williams, he of two full hands and two active knees.

Can these hoary old posters get over themselves enough to just discuss the
issues of the Celts, rather than the membership rites? Or don't they have
opinions on the former? Seems to me there's plenty to talk about.
