On The Trading Block
The following players seem to be "On The Trading Block":
Jahidi White - There's always a need for a big burly center, limited
offensive skills or not.
Milt Palacio - Something has to give in the Anderson, Strickland,
Palacio,
Forte overcrowded non-pure point guard collective on the Celtics.
And Palacio, not as talented as Forte, is easier to move than Anderson.
Chucky Atkins - Ex-Celtic Damon Jones beats him out. As teams are always
looking for point guards, Detroit should have no problem moving him.
Marc Jackson - Many suitors for Golden State's Jackson. It's the
rebounding/scoring
low post option thing that has mass appeal.
Travis Best - Another PG on the block. Thanks to Tinlsey and Rose,
Best is too valuable to keep bottled up on the bench.
Bob Sura - Hello Jason Richardson, goodbye starting job. Sura's big
contract
may be movable by including him with Jackson.
Bryant Reeves or Lorenzen Wright - Is there a more perfect time
to deal Wright, and if not, why keep Reeves around, when you have to
manufacture minutes for Gasol and Swift?
Charlie Ward - Scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Richard Hamilton - When Bobby Simmons is starting over you....
Alan Henderson - Decent power forwards usually have some trade value.
Brad Miller - Krause has got to do something to free things up for Curry
and Chandler.
Michael Doleac - When Ilgauskas returns or by the trading deadline to
a contending team looking for big man depth.
Tyrone Hill - See description for Doleac.
Mikki Moore - He's Mark Blount with talent.
Austin Croshere - Paul Gaston favorite Austin could end up in Boston.
Keon Clark - Like the good Jerome Moiso.
DeShawn Stevenson - Troubled and talented.
Damon Stoudamire - Lots of point guards up for bid this season.
