Re: Bird the Hick

Dear Dan

I am also a "Hick from Indiana", and very proud of it. Why don't you give me a break and accept the fact that Larry Joe Bird is one of the greatest players to ever play the game. You need to look uo what the meaning of a "Hick" is. You say that you do not like his arrogance. It sounds like to me that you are the arrogant one to me. You also say that " At present, living off his past laurels, he is popular because he has been out of site for awhile. I believe that Larry ois becoming a very good coach and that he is popular, because people remember what he did not only for the C's, but what he did for the game of roundball.

Just call me the: Indiana Kid
