John, when the designers put in the data for the car, they unfortunately used identical data for the GTI V5. Sucks, doesn't it? My advice in that respect is to get ahold of a 1.8T. You can build the engine out a lot further. I've compared both, and the 1.8T has a lot more power available. Ryan
