You should check out the Proxes t1 plus...  Toyo doesn't even have a
listing for T1 anymore... It actually states that they're good in the
rain, and it's what my summer tyres are...  I find them quite
acceptable...  Perhaps not as good as the Pirelli W210A's, but those are
winter tyres, so hey.  :)  

Actually, if ANYONE is thinking about buying winter tyres, i would
wholeheartedly recommend the 210a's.  They are, without a doubt, the
best winter tyre i have ever seen.  Slush and water are as nothing to
them.

There's a small dip in a cornder by a friend of mine's place...  It's
usually filled with slush and water during the winter months, and i've
seen it 4 inches deep...  I hit it (not thinking) at 60 KPH (38MPH for
the Yanks... :) the other day, and it was like it wasn't even there. 
Well, until the slpash came up on the windsheild and blinded me, of
course, but i never even noticed a shimmy as far as control was
concerned...

ps - the toyo's also have this cool "Rim flange Protector", which is a
funky way of saying that they have a bumper built into the to prevent
curb damage to your rims...  check out the page at
