Re: Brake Upgrades



This could be incredibly bad.  Here's what happenned in my former
BMW325i.

Rubbing brake pad = excess heat = boiling brake fluid = wrecked master
cylinder & both side calipers = major money repair for both rotors,
both  calipers and master cylinder, as well as a nasty experience with
total brake failure, when there was only boiling brake fluid in the
lines.  


Basically, bad.


If your brake are still steaming 5 minites after you park, there's
something wrong.  At leats, that's my humble opinion.  They will almost
ALWAYS be "warm".  But instant steam?  Way too hot.
