What a ridiculous trade. I like Mark Bryant but he past his prime and Blount
is a dime a dozen free agent.

Wallace is a freakin' idiot, and everyone thought Pitino was bad.

Seattle gets Elden for Anderson. Could we not have made that trade?

Look at it this way, Mark: it moves Baker to 5th on the center depth chart,
sixth if they don't put Bryant on the IR. That's a good thing. More
importantly, it should be yet another nail in Wallace's professional coffin,
if
the ownership is not asleep at the wheel.
Heck, Blount at least tries hard, as inept as he is, blocks the occasional
shot
or two, and sometimes can even catch and dunk the ball. At one point he was
also nailing a baseline J with some consistency. If Battie, McCarty, and
Long
are unavailable for some reason, I want Blount in there instead of Baker. At
least it's honest physical effort, not the fake, bullshit "effort" you get
from
Vinnie.

To summarize, the positives are:
1) Wallace may be closer to moving back to his parents' basement in WV;
2)  we got a couple of warm big bodies, and you can always use a big body in
the NBA, unless it's Vinnie Baker's. We now have 7 guys 6-9 or taller, which
hasn't been the case in more than a decade. But two of them are completely
useless, so it's more like 4 or 5, depending on Bryant's situation.

The negatives are:
1) we got screwed again in terms of talent.
2) we lost a 2nd rounder, which, while always wasted by the BDT, in
competent
hands can fetch useful players.

A negative that may turn into a positive:
1) Vinnie lost a shoulder to cry on and may become totally discombobulated
and
retire. Is Obie being a little clever here?
