Re: Walker/Garnett?

I am not going to bash Antoine, and he showed maturity and improvement
last year, but he is no Garnett, and I frankly can't remember the last
power forward to shoot 39.4% and make the All-Star team.>>Steve and Michelle

Dear Steve and Michelle--

Sorry I can't make it to your anniversary party, but. . .oops, wrong post.

You may very well not the number 39.4% for a Power Forward, Steve (or Michelle), but
he's also scored a whole lot more three point shots than any other PF in the league.
In fact, he's second in three point production. He's 42.5% on his two pointers, which
isn't terrible. Remember that our centers are small or slight; Garnett gets help from
Nesterovic and Joe Smith, both taller and bigger than Battie. Let's him work inside a
bit more.

Besides the stat comparison, which Garnett inevitably wins, I'd rather have Antoine's
desire in the playoffs than KG. There's a toughness to Twan that Kevin just doesn't
have, and it makes a huge difference. He may not be the rebounder that the taller
Garnett is, but he's every bit the leader.
