I wish "we" could be this inclusive and accepting, Gene, but clearly a few
people have shown that they *aren't*, in fact, fans of the team at all.
Not necessarily on this list (though I can certainly name one or two and
would be surprised if you couldn't): the Ordway-types, your
"Butch-From-the-Capes", the people with (possibly racist) prejudices
against Antoine Walker. Please don't pretend they don't exist -- the
world is a wide and varied place, and has many, many kinds of people; some
are even unpleasant.
There is a wide polarization between people who think Antoine Walker can
do wrong (or even those that wish him well) and those that display
irrational prejudices of the sort I'm talking about. Choose another label,
though, surely -- if it's not too euphemistic. Some people really hate
the guy. They've said as much -- explicitly -- on this list.
