I don't like the designation "Antoine haters." Surely there are a few, but
most who have been criticizing Antoine recognize his abilities and wish him

Celtics fans, as JB said, and we wish all of them well.

This is more important than one might think on the surface. The AOL board
where I cut my teeth, is one sorry example. People there have formed
factions over Antoine and Anderson (formerly Pitino) and insult each other
frequently, over any post that sees things in a light they disagree with. I
re-posted Bird's remarks on laying off of insulting posts and was then
insulted my self, for the effort. A few of my friends won't post there any
more, after being ganged up on.
When these opinions get so entrenched, the posters with contrary views
won't even post, after games in which their view is contradicted. How silly
and counter to the object of enjoyment we should be getting from these
boards. It is just a sports board for heavens sake.
For myself, I criticize when I feel like it and praise also, the same
player, often, over the course of a season. That way, win or lose, I can
feel vindicated. LOL
