the kind of players I'm thinking of

us getting: stars who aren't happy with their current situation, like Larry
Hughes in Golden State. I would love to see him in Boston. Sam Cassell.
Maybe Shammond Williams...or maybe not. I see us trading two of the three
picks for someone like that, maybe along with a decent player. As for
getting
rid of Kenny Anderson, I don't think that's a luxury we can afford. Plus,
we might
be able to package him with somebody in a trade during next year's deadline.
If
he's playing well, he might appear to be somebody that can add to a deep
team's
chances (see Strickland, Rod.)

Anyway, I don't think we can get away without having a third scoring talent
in the lineup.
And it would help if he could pass. That's the main talent I'm looking for
from our pick
in the draft. We need somebody to make things happen and get guys easy
shots. I
was at the Philly game, and I don't think we got a single easy shot the
whole time. Part
of it was the philly defense, but part of it was that nobody but Walker and
Pierce is confident
enough to try to create something.
