This is true. Didn't the Fakers win 61 games under Del
Harris a couple years back? So was Del a better coach
than Pitino, or not? He won alot more. It will be very
interesting to see how this current Lakers team does
in the playoffs with the Zen Master at the helm. Word
out of LA is that Jackson already wants out at the end
of the season. Why? Because he knows his team can't
win it all. If they don't, his reputation goes down
the tubes.  You think Phil would've taken a rebuilding
project? No way. The only job for him was one like the
Lakers. Tons of talent, just needed some glue to hold
it together. 


The Lakers still had great records with those coaches.
They just choked in the playoffs. No matter who
coaches that team, they will always have great regular
season records. But they will never win in the
playoffs because Shaq is not a winner. He does not
know what it takes to win.
