Re: Charlotte Observer: Things Tense In Boston - Talk Of Pitino Accepting Buyout

The situation will be bleak this season if the Celts can't dump Anderson
and Mercer for a point guard and a power forward. Battie is not our answer
to the power forward spot. Many articles are growing about the Celts not
going anywhere with this present team. Their not blowing smoke. Anderson
has been a complete failure since he's been here. Mercer's a medium range
jump shooter looking for big bucks, Battie is too small at power forward as
a starter. We need lot's of HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLPPPPP. Problem, no one really
wants or needs what we have to offer. I think the team will do just as well
with or without Pitino. Watching him coach a 50 game season, left a lot of
fans scratching their heads. Pro players can't be motivated anymore by
coaches. Your going to get what they want to give and that's it.
