RE: Pitino/Antoine

I would rather have a coach whose into the game them some laid back retread
that can't deal with the young players and tell them what they are doing
right, and wrong. As someone stated, this is not pre-school, unfortunately
some players like Sprewell can't take some discipline. As for Pitino not
knowing the offense, before getting Anderson we had very poor ball movement
with sometimes little game plan other than give it to Antoine, but I have
just as much concern over his defense. Sure it causes a lot of turnovers
but it gives up easy baskets often also. I think the one of the Portland
game announcers asked "what FA's would want to come and play this type of
defense night in & night out, especially veterans not as young as they used
to be ? This is a good question. We saw veterans like Massenberg want out
quickly.
