Keepers and hikers...

These are my opinions only but everybody is welcome to react on em. 

 

Well, the postseason is coming up and teams out of the playoff picture will definitely try to improve it's current linep (barring a lock out).  So who do we think are the keepers and the ones to be dropped/traded and bought out? 

 

IMHOs, or should I say my guesses are:

 

1. The celts are definitely goin to pay walker his tons of millions so that he'd stay with the team.

2.  Kenny Anderson will be extensively examined physically and re evaluated performance wise so RP can decide if it would be wise to trade him or keep him.

3. Ron Mercer is definitely a KEEPER!!! no brainer

4. Dana Barros, Pervis Ellison and Zab Tabak will be shopped around...it'll be a sure thing that these people will be gone and would wear a different uniform at least.

5. Popeye Jones will be a keeper for now until he's healthy and ready to try out RPs game plan in practices and scrimmages.

6. Minor is a keeper, I just think he's somewhat a better shooter/scorer than Bowen, at the same time Minor approximates Bowen's defensive capabilities.

7. Bowen is a keeper due to his acceptance of his defensive role.

8. Travis Knight is definitely the big mistake.  He will be a keeper coz nobody wants to get him (hope I am wrong)

9. DeClerq is a keeper. (see Bowen's)

10. McCarty is a 50/50.  He might be packaged or might stay.

11.Others not mentioned?  I guess whoever's not mentioned will be DROPPED.

 

There you have it.  Season's not over yet but these are my predictions on what 's to come for next season for the celts.  Please do give out your own opinions about these things.
