John, have to disagree on this one. Barros is a " gunner" in the truest
form. All he want's to do is shoot the ball as Philly let him do a few
years ago. He has been in the league what now about 5-6 years and has
really not improved his shooting consistency, or defensive ability. I
would take Wesley over Barros any day. At least Wes plays some D. You
can't compare Wes and his $350,000 salary to Barros & his $3-$4M a year ?
Who are we getting our money's worth out of ? You are correct, based on the
latest wave of salaries his is really not as outrageous as when he signed,
and Wesley will want some $$ to resign.

If he can not consistently come off the bench, score & play defense, he is
a liability IMO. We can not be successful with a backcourt of 6' & under
when you are going up against guys 6'4' to 6'9".

You are correct, he can get hot and shoot the Celtics to victory, but seems
to more often stay cold, and shoot them to the Duncan derby. That game
against the Knicks last year was pitiful, he just wanted to keep his 3
point streak alive and didn' t care if he team won or lost.
