tidbits

hi,

	just some tidbits to throw out... i feel like it so hope you 
don't mind.

1)  the two expansion teams cannot get the first pick... they are not 
really in the lottery... a lot of people keep factoring them in but the 
nba has ruled that it cannot happen this year... next year.. i don't know 
but not this year.

2)  people keep talking about allen iverson and how he has no sense of 
shot selection for a point guard or a player at that... but look at damon 
stoudamire... his classic line lines are 5-15, 6-20, 7-21... now he was 
rookie of the year... allen does need to work on it but i don't think 
it's that bad.

3)  i have a feeling that ml might know what he was doing all along... 
maybe... two first rounders this year... develop them and when the money 
frees up in a year or two go after the final pieces to the puzzle... was 
this his plan all along... ???  who cares... it looks like it might just 
work.

4)  does anybody think that trading down in the lottery (with the dallas 
pick) is a good idea... or maybe trading it for multiple picks in later 
years?  does everybody really think that duncan is a true center... 6-10, 
240?  i'm not sure and i pray that if we get him he's not a tweener... 
lastly... i want a point guard here in boston... i think if we did trade 
down we could still get jacque vaughn... can't shoot but he can sure play 
some d, dish the rock and just run the team.
