I'm not trying to be a pain, I only persist because I think it's odd that,
in my head, I had filed away that it wasn't actually Pete's grandmother who
abused him.  Here's another post from May that indirectly refers to the
"visitor," as if some confusion had come up in the reports.

I definitely don't know why I was so sure that it wasn't his Grandmother.
The vast majority of references I've seen just say "while in the care of his
maternal Grandmother," while many news reports said "by his Grandmother,"
although I couldn't locate a definitive direct quote, either way.
