QUAD at Minneapolis

I would like to hear from anyone that attended the QUAD show
in Minneapolis. I thought that the crowd was boring. I felt
like the band felt the lack of energy themselves. IMHO, it 
was not until 5:15 that the house started to rock. The show
itself was not billed as QUAD. The newspaper review implied
that the crowd was there expecting a 'greatest hits' show
and got QUAD instead. I have read everyone's review to this day
and still wonder what the problem with PT's acoustic mix in the
monitors was. He was chewing out one of the guys on the side of
the stage. He was totally pissed off! It appears that this was
a perpetual problem throughout most of the tour. Maybe his hearing
really is bad. I can't believe anything that PT says anymore
because he is so full of shit and himself. I still love his music
but I'm starting to believe that PT likes to hear himself talk.
I really have a lot of repsect for JAE. He has kept his mouth
shut and let PT and Moon make asses of themselves over the years.
Another thing, why they didn't pick up Simon Phillips after Moon
died is beyond me. Kenny & Zak are good but Simon whooooops all
of their asses in technical ability & taste. Just listen to any
of his drumming on the '89 TOMMY tour Cd's, especially Love Reign
O'er Me at the end. Are there any musicians or sound type people
on this list????? I'd like to hear from you. I've been listening
to the WHO for over 30 yrs. It's interesting to hear some of you
younger folks' opinions. Bottom line ... THE WHO KICK ASS !!!!!
