Taste, etc.

To Athena: Ya think it's hard being a 20 year old with taste now?  Try 
being a twelve year-old with impeccable taste back in the seventies?  Now
we're talking oasis in the desert!   Lots more to like now than then, 
particularly in the mid-seventies... Punk-tuated by the first wave of English
punk bands and other smatterings til the latest re-run, which I gladly admit
has produced some great music amid the mediocrity - but then again that's the
way it's always been.  It`s good to know that by re-issuing the classic
Who stuff, they (the Who) are kind of throwing the gauntlet down, saying,
"O.K., here's what you're up against; Let's see what you can do!"`
