You can never go wrong with the Potterman kit that includes the mounting
brackets to make them fir the NA read support as I assume you do not have
the euro rad support. As for cheap, NOPI has them dirt cheap, and PG
Performance has (had??) a deal on their site where the lights were cheap
and you got a grill ofr about $100. Also, there is a GB through Rapid Parts
in the Mk3 forum on Vortex. Finally, the inpro and Hella names are
interchangeable...they are the same lights. Often, the inpro branded lights
come in the Hella box, or vise-versa. As for city lights as DRL's, anythig
is possible if you want to take the time and re-work the wiring. You do not
need a euro switch to run the Mk4 look lights, but it opens up a lot more
in terms of lighting arrangement....
