Head gasket question

Anyone had to replace this on their VR6? I think I might have that problem.
On the drive on Saturday we stopped to talk and I let the car run. When we
took off a big white puff came out of my exhaust. Nothing after that or on
Sunday. But Monday it did it again. It only does it when the car has been
idling, like at a long stop light. Other than that, it doesn't do it at all.
Any thoughts?
