Dang, Bill. Don't hold back, tell us how you really feel. I can only assume
that you are intentionally trying to provoke a reaction from the list.

I think Kahn's tire experience is very typical of the experience that most of
us have with our Jettas. I, for one, am very interested in the experiences of
someone who has obviously put a lot of thought and energy into formulating
their opinion on tires. Frankly, I don't think anyone here regards themselves
as a "performance expert", and I don't subscribe to this list expecting as
much.

Unfortunately, we can't all have the "tire chunking" experience that you have.
If this list is not up to your level of tire expertise, I suggest you
unsubscribe. Otherwise, you might try explaining your difference of opinion
rather than shoving it down our throats.
