OK, you want to know why the GA's suck?

Every morning, I'm on a 10% incline, to go up a hill to go to work.
I'm approaching the hill from the side, at a T-intersection, so I
have to come to a complete stop, and make a left turn to go up the
hill.

Since the road is fairly busy in the AM, I need to accelerate with
significant speed if I don't want to piss the guy off behind me
because I just turned in front of him and am now going 5mph.

The speed limit up the hill is 35mph, and it's not a severe grade,
but when I try to accelerate, my wheels slip and spin and slip and
spin for about 15 feet until they finally decide they are moving fast
enough to care about the co-efficient of friction.

In other words, these crummy, shitty tires can't grip the fricking
pavement in a simple, every day circumstance.

Now I've never driven a Jetta with better tires on it, but I can ONLY
imagine that the kind of comments we get about the GA's has a LOT to
do with this pathetic handling.

Oh yea, if there is ANY moisture on the ground, kiss all of your
traction goodbye. You're best off waiting five minutes for the
traffic to subside before you turn into traffic, or you're going to
get highbeams when you turn in front of the poor guy who gets stuck
behind you and your pathetic GA's.

I've got 175 horses under the hood (+3 from the lack of stickers and
K&N filter I have), but I can only use 90 or so of them to drive up
this damn hill, because my tires can't handle it.

My next purchase (when I budget for it, which is within the next
three months) is to replace the God Awful's with Toyo Proxes FZ4's--
like the T1's, but better in the wet, which is what I need.
