LOL, even though I am offended by your motor mount question, here are some 
thoughts <g>:

The aftermarket motor mounts do a lot to help lessen engine movement. The 
stock VW motor mounts flake after short period of time (just like their 
suspension components) and you will actually feel the engine rock back and 
forth. Now a little movement is ok, but with my car, the 
acceleration/deceleration process is marked by a marked shifting of the 
engine. It also makes the cable shifter feel even more sloppy.

I haven't seen Jason Whipple's (Turn2) replacement donut but have heard good 
things about it. I am leaning towards a replacement front motor made by 
Vibra-Technics. For more technical details, here is a link:
