Whipple Unit?

Okay,
I'm a list newbie. Never heard of the Whipple Mount. I suppose from the GTI
tech page that its a new lower engine mount for the VR6. 

Can someone supply some short info about:
1) Where to get one?
2) How does it work?
3) What benefits does it have?
4) What disadvantages have been seen?

etc.etc yadda yadda

The VR6 doesn't seem like it shifts on its mount anything near as much as my
old 16V and 8V GLI did. I think body roll/tilti from stock suspension
equipment is nastier, gonna fix that soon...
