RE: How do I know if I've got the BOSE speakers?

Aside from the speakers, the other key to the Bose system is the Amp (do you
have a stock amp marked "Bose" hanging from your rear deck? If you want an
improvement in sound, you can either find a junked Jetta with Bose, pull the
deck, amp, speakers, and wiring ($$$ and time), or install an aftermarket
head unit, speakers, and amp. I must say that I'm quite happy with my Blau.
Sydney. One of these days I might upgrade the speakers, but suspension,
tires, and a mountain bike are far ahead on the wish list.

When I went to Car Toys to get my CD changer, they checked it out and the
head unit was Clarion. The Clarion CD changer just plugged right in, no
adapter needed.

My cassette door has the tab/bump. My rear deck speakers do not have the
BOSE logo. The dash speakers appear to only have one tweeter each. No
specific BOSE manual. Guess I got the short end of the speaker stick.
Anybody have experience with an upgraded head unit and these speakers? I
don't have the $$$ to do both speakers and head unit...

Before the invention of eruptions, lava had to be carried down the mountain
by hand and thrown on the sleeping villagers. This took a lot of time.
