No Subject



I have a similar problen to the "Neon" situation. When I rev my "96 
Jetta GLX over 4500 in first (in order to kick some ...), I risk 
grinding when shifting to second. The only way to counteract this is 
to pause between first and second. This wastes valuable seconds. 
Spoke to various VW dealers who say that this is a problem with 
this car. I don't beleive it, but can't find anyone who says different.
