Hurm.  So you didn't use the existing mounts under the speaker cover on
the dash?  There was PLENTY of space under mine.  And speakers in cars
(IMHO) are not like having your surround sound system at home.  As long
as they're generally aimed at your head, that should be fine.  You
definitely don't want your tweeters aimed at your head, when your
mids/lows are by your feet.  They'll just overkill anything coming out
of your feet.  Uh.  BY your feet, i mean.  :)  Not that you couldn't
mount speakers in your shoes if you really wanted to...  Oh, forget
it...
