You gotta be joking me, a suburban?!?

Well, I picked a slightly harder target, but certainly still easy pickings.

I pull up to a light, the last light before getting on to Interstate-5, and
there's a Honda prelude, lowered, coffeecan exhaust tip, and chrome wheels
directly in front of me, just the two of us at this light.

The light turns green, and we both accelerate to 25mph in first, expecting
to drive the limit to the onramp, and shift into second. We near the
onramp, and it's clear the riceboy is going to step on it, as he starts to
pull away. I keep it in 2nd, and floor it. Within two seconds, I'm on his
ass, and I have to let off the accelerator. By this time, it's safe for me
to merge left, and I floor the pedal again. Before I even hit 6000 rpm in
second, I'm coming close to even with him. Shift into third, and now the
Prelude is rapidly falling back. I accelerate to 80mph, and by this time,
it's time for my offramp (just one mile down the road), so I slow down.

I think I instilled the fear of VW in that riceboy, and I think his next
car will be a VR6. Honda Prelude? Prelude to getting your ass kicked!
