Yea tell that to European Car Mag's Tech editor.  He owns that white 
Project GLX.  I saw it here at Rimmer Engineering.  It is fitted with a 
supercharger and everyother mod you can think of.  It is about 260-320 hp. 
I bet that 1.8 which is a beauty don't get me wrong cant come close.

I beleive Doug and Jamie at VW Vortex did some tests and a modded
1.8T is MUCH faster than a modded GTI/GLX VR6.

Question is how reliable is that 1.8T with all that extra boost?  I
plan to run my VR6 for 200,000+km and I wonder if a modded 1.8T would
last that long.
