I don't believe so , but you'd know right away, if your idle starts
"floating" that's a good indicator.

Is this true on the OBD-I cars as well? I just bought a ported TB
outright, though it's not done yet- I suppose we'll see for sure in
about 1.5 weeks!
The throttle sensors, etc., shouldn't make too much difference in an
OBD-I car, though I may be wrong. I did buy a Garrett chip optimized
for the whole thing though, so we'll see!
