My Autotech catalog says that "US Spec headlamps found on Golf 2, GTi, Jetta
2, Golf 3, Jetta 3, and Corrado use a spec bulb called a 9004"
The 9004 combines both high and low beams, the 9005/9006 are individual
hi/low bulbs...if you want to be sure, check to see if you have one or two
bulbs in each headlight...
