Re: ghost window
My 98 has started the same thing. I'm going to ask my dealer when I
bring it in for the 10K - but am assuming there isn't much they can do
about it. When it does occur it happens like 2 or 3 times in a row.
To "get it up" just stop the windows up movement about 3 inches from
the top and then close. It seems to have something to do with the
anti-pinch feature in combination with the one-touch up-down feature.
I'll let you know what they say...

I have had my 98 glx since January first of this year. I don't have any
complaints , it is an awesome car. I have been having problems with my
passenger side front window. It seems to have a mind of it's own.
Sometimes I try to close it and it rolls up fine, other times it rolls
up, and then back down to its open position. right where it was before.
It is annoying, but I really don't care all that much. I am just glad
that I have a glx. I am wondering if this is a common problem? Is it
fixed without any reoccurances?
