Suspension Impessions, and other questions...

Hi,

I've been planning on upgrading my '95 GLX's suspension for some time now, and
I can't quite decide on which route to take. I had pretty much decided on
Neuspeed's Bilstein HD shocks, and Neuspeeds Lowering springs, but after
reading the "Suspension Impressions" part of "THE VW ZONE" homepage, I decided
that maybe that would be too stiff. Then, I thought the HD struts/shocks and
SofSport Springs would be the way to go.

Now that I've begun autocrossing, and hoping to do some track events soon, I'm
starting to think THE STIFFER THE BETTER. Still, I put about 20k miles a year
on my car, a lot of which is on the interstate, and I need a comfortable ride.
Wonder what the Lowering Springs with Koni's adjustable shocks would be like?

Anybody want to share any suspension experiences?

Also, I've done relatively no engine mods. (Just a modified airbox, a and ABT
filter.) Plan to do some more further down the road. (But right now, I can't
autox in STOCK class if I do....) Anyway, does anybody have any idea if
changing the chip, throttle body, etc, would have any more adverse affects on a
VR6 with many miles on it as opposed to a newer engine?

This list seems to be quiet lately! Let's get some discussions going!

Thanks!
Dave
