Shifter Wabble

     Fellow GLX enthusiasts,
     
     I'm new to the list and would like some feedback concerning a problem 
     I've been having with my shifter in my '95 GLX. When taking slowly off 
     in first gear, a slight rocking motion (back and forth) of the shifter 
     can be felt. It only exhibits this problem in first gear and I've 
     checked the motor mount and they appear to be fine. Has anyone heard 
     of this problem and know of a solution. I also hear a slight speak 
     when taking off in first from a dead stop. Has anyone experienced 
     this?
