This does nothing for the glaring rebounding problems, but you have to
take care of the problems one at a time. This one, in Ainge's opinion
(and I agree), takes care of point guard. Let's hope it happens.

P.S. Iverson ... NO, NO, NO, NO, NO ... But I wouldn't be opposed to a
trade that routed him somewhere else and brought something back to the
C's. Of course, this kind of deal would have to involve Pierce. Paul is
really disappointing me. Last night the only time he seemed interested
at all was when the ball was in his hands. He loafed up and down the
floor, loafed on defense and continued his disturbing trend of leading
by example exactly in the wrong direction. The Celtics' best player is
acting disinterested, unmotivated and selfish. A team follows its best
player. I thought Pierce was more competitive than that. Like I said,
it's disappointing.

Well, I guess that teaches me not to respond to posts until I read the
morning news. With the glaring weaknesses we have on this team right
now, I'm
mystified as to why Ainge is so dead set on another shooting guard. Oh
well, I
think we had better be willing to give up Welsch or Davis if we bring in
Barry.
We just don't have room for all three.
