Maybe they do miss Raef..

This team isn't as bad as it looks right now. It misses Lafrentz, as much as
the cynics like to joke about that. They've been in some really tight games.
It won't take much to win a few of those. A two-point loss in Philly is no
disgrace. But they do need to make some changes before things get worse.

Raef is #1 on the team in +/- ratio. Its quite possible that his outside
shooting stretches the defense and makes it easy for Paul to score.

Also much maligned K. Brown is number 2. Looks like this guy is not "killing"
the Celtics after all. Problem is while Brown passes to others no one passes
to him. :( Also Brown plays excellent defense. No chance that Shanon Anderson
burns the Celtics for 30 points if you stick Brown on him in the beginning of
the game.

Also clearly Paul is playing awful. Much of the blame needs to rest with him.
Before you right this statistic off as "bogus" Paul was a top 10 guy last
year.

The Celtics believe in and use the +/- statistics.. They used to keep track
of it on their website in the KA years. This in part explains why some
"horrible" players like Brown, James and Blount see time. They are helping the team
more then some of the "talented" players like Battie, and Jones.

I wouldn't count on OB going anywhere.. Much of this team problem lies with
Pierce's poor play.
