Answering Your Questions Once Anew

- No To Boris Diaw. Have not the examples of Moiso
and Joe Johnson taught anyone about these athletic
drifter types? It's a mistake to take Diaw-Rifford
when better players like Aleksandar Pavlovic and Victor
Kryapa may/should be available, and screw the point forward
concept and just trade for a quality PG. I'd take a shot at Tinsley.
Sans Isiah's meddling, could be a much better player.

- Any ways, the Celtics need to trade up and go after Maciej Lampe.
I can't stress enough how the Celtics need someone n the 6-10 to 7-0
range who can have an impact.

- No, it's a deep draft. Teams will find good players
or stash players overseas from the second round.
Guys like Troy Bell, Kyle Korver, Pacellus Morlende,
Kristaps Valters, Christos Tapoutos, Blagota Sekulic,
Sani Imbrahim, etc. Unfortunately, Denver has the Celtics
No. 46 pick from the Mark Blount deal, but they did get a
$2 million trade exception out of it. So, let's hope they use it.

- Yes, the Celtics had to take the Philly pick this year, as it was
the 76's call, that the pick would be awarded to the Celtics
the first year they were eligible for the playoffs.

- Wilcox is safely ensconced with the Clippers.
They rarely move out young players, instead,
let them leave as free agents. And it's difficult
to do trade trades any ways with the Clippers, because
Sterling doesn't like to take on contracts. Besides, it looks
like the Clippers may unscrew themselves and hire Larry Brown
as coach. Perhaps that will have an effect on Miller,
Odom, and Brand staying.

- Yes, the Celtics should have waited on O'Brien and gone after Larry
Brown.
Philly would have wanted a draft pick as compensation, but it would have

been worth it.

- Kyle Korver has been having terrific workouts - can
really shoot - still doesn't seem to boost him out of the second round.

- Zarko Carbacapa, a first round pick, sees himself as a
6-11 small forward rather than a PF. Zarko will present matchup
problems
at SF, but will struggle for awhile guarding quicker small forwards, and
will have
to adapt to the NBA game. Zarko can be a middle-class Nowitzki if he
toughens up.

- Steve Blake had a workout for someone.
