Re: tayshaun prince

Gene, when I say Joe Johnson and Kedrick are too passive, don't confuse that
with showing no emotion. I love guys who play hard, but appear stoic. No,
when I say Johnson and Kedrick are too passive, I mean they don't play hard
enough or aggressively enough. It was a knock on JJ dating back to his
Arkansas days and continues after two seasons in the NBA. And the Celtics
have all but begged Kedrick to up his aggressiveness, yet he's still the
same. Being passive and not showing emotion are too very different things.

And Jim, great catch on Bremer. That's exactly right. Bremer got his chance
and ran with it. It's not that Obie has a bias against young players. I
think if you look closely at the players, he has a bias against soft,
unaggressive players.

He looked like he was in the SEC again. What a great scorer! But he's too
passive, shows no emotion, he just lopes up and down the court; he couldn't
possibly make it in the NBA like that. He's too much like, uh, Duncan? Oh,
well, I've been waiting to use that. Some of the best all-timers in various
sports have been unemotional, like Unitas. I like it when one of the
passive types shows that it's what you do on the field of play that matters.
