Re: Bob Ryan

How bout Shank Shaughnessy calling Offerman a piece of garbage or a human
sack of you know what. Marty Barron defended the CHB as being a columnist
whose job it was to elicit an emotional response from his readers. How
about the absolute character assasination and bald face lies that Derrick
Jackson puts in his columns? The Globe lets all that go, doesnt even report
on the Ryan story, then when it goes national suspended him? Thats pretty
lame. How about Charles Barkley - should he be suspended for all the things
he has said? The double standard and the hypocrisy of the Globe and society
at large is a joke. Its too bad for Bob Ryan that he said something stupid,
but he shouldnt have his career ruined over it and he should expect his
employer to stand by him. How the union over there could let this go is
beyond me...
