expansion draft

Don't ask me why I was thinking about this tonight, but I was.

When Charlotte come (back) into the L next year there will be an 
expansion draft.  I seem to remember it being each team protecting 7 
or 8 players.  Does anyone remember the # or how FA's factor into the 
mix?

So assuming we stand fairly pat with the 12-13 players we have now:

Bremer
Banks
Pierce
Delk
Williams
Brown
Walker
Baker
(Hunter-13)
Battie
Blount
Perkins
Sundov

I would imagine there are 5 locks to be protected:

Banks
Pierce
Walker
Battie
Perkins

I guess you could make the argument that for the money and potential 
Blount & Brown would win out over Delk, though Brown might lose out 
to whoever our #1 pick is if that's before the expansion draft 
(though I seem to remember it being even before the draft lottery).

p.s. I'd actually love to see us get rid of Sundov, keep Hunter and 
bring in Mark Jackson to tutor Banks.  MJax is one of my all-time 
favorite non-Celtics.
