Mind provoking news

The news today is mind provoking on many fronts.

First, Danny is willing to use to exception. Will he move on to the next 
power foward (Brand-Clippers will likely match)? If not Brand, then is there 
anyone else we would be interested in?

A deal to deal Walker is likely on the table (NY for Sweetney, Thomas and 
Ward?). Thomas, Ward, and Knight and a no. 1? We just don't know how much Walker 
is worth or how much we would have to pay to get expiring contracts.

Danny had the clout to get the Mailman to consider to coming to Boston. Why? 
Was it the Celtic tradition? Respect for Danny? Remember Malone only wants to 
go to somewhere he can get a ring. Maybe he considered the Cs only for the 
full exception but will take the veteran's exception for a championship ready 
team like the Lakers.

Something stinks in Miami. You got to know Riley would do anything, including 
cheating, to get better. Tell Duffy, the agent who screwed things for his 
client, Carter, the check is in the mail.
