Re: Ainge + Twan and the Knicks.



With all due respect, what is your real issue with Danny not telling the
public, via the media, the truth?  His role is not to keep the public
informed.  It is to find the right players to turn this team into a
contender, right?  The need to know confidential information is yours.

I fear this will be a recurring theme for Danny's tenure.  I mean, do you
want him to tell you that Battie has the sniffles?  Or do you expect him to
tell you that he is looking at making a trade for Latrell Sprewell?  He
ain't gonna do it.  Accept it.
And he told us so when he took the job.  He said he wasn't going to disclose
everything because that would not be in the best interest of the club.

We needed a PG.  He went out and got the guy that they felt had the best
chance of coming aboard and handling the position right away.  He went out
and got 2 big bodies to help out upfront.  Weren't they the two areas that
most of us felt needed improvement?

I cannot understand what the problem is.
