I agree with your premise that a pure PG can make for easier shots for
teammates but I think your example of Boykins is suspect.  He has been used
more as a scorer than anything else.  He is averaging less than 5 assists
over the last 10 games but has attempted just over 100 shots.  And I won't
mention how he can be abused defensively.

But I agree that every team will benefit from a creative PG.
