Re:Clearing up the Blount rumors

  A couple things to keep in mind in regards to Blount....

#1- Blount knows the Celtics defense.  This would have to be a huge plus in 
O'Brien's mind.  The center is such a significant position in this defense, 
but not in the typical way.  Getting someone in here that already knows it 
and can be thrown on the court right away...well, that alone makes me believe 
O'Brien would love to get Blount in here.

#2- With Battie not practicing and Wolkowyski now gone, who is Baker going 
against in practice? Walter?  Sundov?  There is no one to push him and we all 
know he needs constant pushing .
  The sad thing there is that if Baker isn't dominating enough in practice 
against Sundov and McCarty to make O'Brien feel he deserves more playing 
time....well.....

I was probably Blount's biggest critic when he was here.  I'm still not 
thrilled with the possibility of him coming back.  But, when you stop and 
think about it from O'Briens point of view, it isn't as crazy as it seems.
