  That's not exactly a fair. 
  Yes, Paul is the post season scoring leader and has done his scoring in 
dramatic fashion.  But what you seem to overlook in this statement is the 
fact that he also leads the team in rebounds, assists and steals. 
He's right at the top of all playoff performers. 
7th in scoring
8th in rebounding
2nd in free throw attempts
1st in free throw makes
11th in free throw % 
tied (with Mike Bibby and Nick Van Excel) for 9th in assists 
tied for 10th in steals

Which all adds up to the 5th best tendex ratings in the post season (32.44 
regular and 35.79 per 48 minutes) behind just Garnett, Nowitzki, Shaq and 
McGrady.

So, he's hardly just scoring. 
Perhaps the media attention in this case is deserved?
