Almost as many viewers watched the New England Revolution's
first soccer game of the season last Saturday -- 0.5 rating --
as did they the Celtics last game: 0.7 rating.
$360 million, Wyc, and you can't outdraw soccer.
Then again, the Revolution drew over 61,000 fans to the Razor for the MLS
Cup game, and has outdrawn the Celtics in attendance over its entire
existence. Btw, that game, because of the time conflict with the Celtics
game, was shown live on a channel that few people get - AT&T 3, and on tape
delay on FSNE. Imagine what the ratings would be if it was the other way
around.
