Eh..
Well frankly I hope the Celtics stay on this bloody "wrong direction"
Since Pierce has arrived the Celtics have gone from flat out awful...to the
conference finals.
Futhermore his stats from his team USA work were flat out excellent. When you
shoot 49% from three point land and also get a ton of free throw shooting
opportunities your doing very well. He has many assists, and was third in the
team in blocked shots.
Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant have often been called "selfish" but you know
when your the best you SHOULD be get alot of touches and you should take alot
of shots.. When you shoot 49% from three point land you should shoot alot of
threes.
PP is right on track. He will be even better this year as he can devote more
time to conditioning. And he will work on his free throws. Though I think
part of the problem there is also his conditioning.
As for the rest of the Celtics..they really don't deserve to be on the same
team with him..with the exception of Walker. The idea that he is hurting the
development of the "team" is laughable.
Whose development is he hurting? Eric Williams? Walker McCarty? Those guys
couldn't even make the Kings roster. Even if we gave most of the Celtics away
they would just be released.
The Celtics don't have a team they have Walker and Pierce and some other guys
who can't play. KA was the last NBA worthy player we had...and we shipped him
out for some overrated, overpaid, and overweight local.
