It Wouldn't Surprise Me To See...

- That the Magical Bullets are better than advertised with a rejuvenated
Jordan, regular
season stud Stackhouse playing well for a new contract, Jordan mentoring
Larry
Hughes into a competent point guard, Byron Russell being Byron Russell,
and
toss in a couple of decent centers, draft picks, and a more with-it
Kwame Brown.

- The fear and loathing emanating from Celtics fans, after the team
plays the Nets
and Kidd disembowels the Boston PGs, Mutumbo neutralizes Baker,
Jefferson moving on up on Pierce, and Toine taking 30 shots and making 7

in a 12 point loss.

- Chris Wallace announce his engagement to Josh Ozersky and a move to
Hawaii.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

- A TV movie made about the life of Bison Dele, especially the end of,
which lends
itself to the Lifetime Channel. Let's see, there was a fight on Dele's
yacht between Bison
and his brother, Dele's girlfriend intervenes, she's killed by the
half-brother, when
she's slammed to the deck (talk about hitting the deck!), Bison kills
the Captain
who wants to report the crime, and there's another fight between the two
brothers
with Bison being shot to death, and the weighted bodies of the dead
being tossed
overboard into sharky infested murky depths. Then the brother, out of
guilt and
remorse, insulin overdoses into the afterlife. You can't make stuff like
this up!

- Paul Pierce injured. Add up the karmic dissonance from his Sgt.
Schultz performance
at his trial and the over-extension of the World Championships and poof
we have prime
injury potential.

- Lots of bitching and moaning about the misuse of Kedrick Brown, if
O'Brien utilizes an
8-man rotation and Kedrick doesn't make the cut. It will be a sore spot
indeedy
with Jefferson starting for the Nets, Johnson and Forte traded, and
Brown buried
on the bench.

- The Celtics to make a trade for a PG. First things first, do you trust
Celtics management
to make the right decision concerning the draft picks? Do you trust Jim
O'Brien to develop
two rookies? Does management trust the coach to develop rookies? I think
the answers
are no, no, no. So away, away, away, a draft choice goes, likely in a
package deal for a
point.

- Thge new owners regret not bringing in Larry Bird. Since they've put
up a small
amount of their own funds in the purchase price of the team, and need to
attract other
investors and garner bank loans, having Bird on board would have been a
financial slam dunk. Nothing attracts rich jock sniffing investors than
a living
sports legend.
